From the basement to the big screen, we create films that speak real stories—no filters, no shortcuts, just truth.

My Story

I started with a camera, shooting real people and real moments in Cincinnati. From there, I taught myself filmmaking and started creating my own movies—writing, shooting, and editing everything myself. Over the years I built my own lane, made films, won awards, and kept pushing forward. Now I focus on documentaries that tell the truth and bring real stories to the screen.

My history

From modest beginnings, everything was built through dedication and a drive to keep getting better. I started as a photographer in the mid-80s, then taught myself filmmaking—writing, shooting, and editing my own films from the ground up.

Along the way, I’ve earned festival recognition and packed out screenings in Cincinnati and Detroit. One of the largest screenings was held at the Showcase Cinema in Cincinnati. The screening room seated 325, and the theater was packed for the premiere of the feature film O.T.R, a crime drama that won 1st place at The Cleveland Indie Festival.

I’m also one half of ZellWins, a filmmaking partnership with Donna Winston. I handle cinematography and editing, bringing her stories to life—and together, we’ve completed five films.

My film Chasing The Moon is streaming on Amazon, Tubi, Fawsome TV, and Stash TV. Right now, I’m pushing forward with my documentary Sky High: The Story of Basil Lewis vs Nike, which has earned festival recognition with wins and official selections.
